“Queerly Beloved: Pride Celebration”

  • The Unitarian Universalist Church of Oxford  31 County Road 198 Oxford, MS, 38655 United States (map)

Michael Luong writes, “Pride was birthed in the need for resistance, and this is ever more true today. Pride will always be relevant. As we dream of true inclusion—not just tolerance—we center our queer ancestors’ intentions, uplift those in the community who are most vulnerable, and remember those who fought and sacrificed for the rights that allow us simply to exist today.” Join our minister, Rev. Sarah at UUCO to celebrate the beginning of Pride Week with a Drag Queen Time for All Ages, a Glitter Blessing, and a Candlelit Vigil of remembrance as we joyously honor inclusion & the LGBTQIA+ community. All are welcome.
